Protocol Meets Mindfulness at MCO
Healing Leaf International is proud to announce that CEO Retha Boone‑Fye was invited to serve as a Course Facilitator for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (MCO). The invitation came from Mr. U. Desmond Alufohai (“Mr. International”), and she joined Ms. Rose Hedgemond, CEO of Avenues of Excellence, as part of the International Protocol and Business Etiquette Workshop held August 25–26, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.
The two‑day workshop, curated by Mr. Alufohai, was designed to introduce Protocol etiquette and assist airport staff in navigating the complexities of serving diverse nationalities at this important destination. The program encompassed self‑presentation, dining etiquette, and interpersonal communication, helping staff to navigate diverse environments with confidence and tact.
Mindfulness Contribution
As part of the curriculum, CEO Retha Boone‑Fye presented the importance of self‑care and compassion as an essential component of public service. While the team presented Protocol as a discipline, she offered Mindfulness practices to help Orlando International Airport aviation authorities and their staff manage stress and remain resilient while serving millions of passengers who pass through this international hub.
This collaboration demonstrated how Protocol and Mindfulness together create a balanced approach: discipline in service, and strength in well‑being.
Looking Ahead: Spa for the Soul – November 2026
Healing Leaf International is excited to announce the return of its signature event, "SPA FOR THE SOUL," this November. This immersive experience will bring together another group of participants who cherish their peace and give insight as to how to begin or continue practicing self-care. Details and registration will be shared in the OCTOBER UPDATE.
